Suruchi Shah is an accomplished Engineering Manager and Staff Software Engineer at LinkedIn Corporation. With a decade of experience, she has significantly contributed to enhancing LinkedIn’s platform, focusing on unlocking job search potential and improving member productivity and success.

Currently leading LinkedIn’s LLM Serving team, Suruchi is responsible for the model serving infrastructure that powers LinkedIn’s large language model (LLM) inference workloads. Her work ensures that advanced machine learning models operate efficiently, providing LinkedIn’s members with relevant job recommendations and personalized content, thus enhancing their job search experience.

Previously, Suruchi led the Identity-as-a-Service platform team, developing an entity resolution service that integrates enterprise data with LinkedIn's Economic Graph. This innovation has enabled precise member and company data resolution, facilitating seamless integrations with Microsoft and third-party clients. This, in turn, allows LinkedIn to offer more accurate job matches and networking opportunities, directly contributing to member success.

Suruchi also played a pivotal role in migrating and optimizing LinkedIn’s distributed graph database, Liquid. By addressing critical scaling issues and introducing innovative features, she ensured the efficient handling of vast amounts of data. This migration resulted in substantial codebase reductions and hardware cost savings, allowing LinkedIn to allocate more resources towards improving user-facing features that enhance job search and professional networking.

Her contributions to LinkedIn’s messaging search backend infrastructure have improved the efficiency and relevance of search results. This enhancement enables members to find job-related messages and connections more quickly, streamlining their job search process.
