Nicola Mills has founded and directed a collective of high-performing, cross-functional teams within the Sunny Balcony Group, operating across Australia, New Zealand, the UK, the USA, and the Middle East. The group includes a broad portfolio of ventures including Go Brands Group (The Cheeky Beans, Go Sushi, Wasabi Warriors), Tier One Recruitment, Fundfindrs, Jacaranda Hub, and Ready Energy.

As Co-Founder and Group Finance and Commercial Director of CaSE Civil and Structural Engineering, and CJC Management, Nicola’s contribution to engineering is extensive. CaSE and CJC have worked on, consulted for and completed major complex global infrastructure projects across the globe. There are currently 11 office locations across the US, Europe, the Middle East and Australia and New Zealand.

2024 was a transformative period of growth. Key initiatives included the international expansion of Tier One Recruitment, the strategic launch of the AI Task Force within Jacaranda Hub, and the introduction of Impactiv to support founders with investment, operational infrastructure, and mentorship. Sunny Balcony’s Finance Team played a crucial role in navigating complex cross-border financial operations, while People & Culture embedded leadership development plans, and wellness and inclusivity initiatives across the workforce.
Jacaranda Hub, Sunny Balcony Group’s shared services agency, drove operational excellence across Marketing, Finance, Operations, and HR, as well as making huge contributions for CABER. Jacaranda Hub’s ability to anticipate needs, solve problems, and implement scalable systems has enabled Sunny Balcony Group to enter new markets and launch multiple high-impact ventures.
