In 2025, Reynolds marked its 150th anniversary with a comprehensive internal communications campaign that honored our history, reinforced pride in our culture, and cemented our vision for the future.

At the campaign’s core were our “Legacy Stories,” a powerful series spotlighting the people behind our progress. We celebrated one of our first Black female chemists who rose to Vice President, as well as a senior legal counsel—now in his 90s—and his granddaughter, who today leads one of our biggest brands. These stories bridged generations and reminded employees that our greatest legacy is our people.

To bring history to life, we launched an immersive timeline installation and placed monuments at every U.S. facility. Employees received commemorative gift boxes, including a custom calendar featuring original artwork by colleagues, blending history with present-day creativity. We further reinforced community pride through a Mayoral Proclamation and the unveiling of a permanent historical marker at the site of our first factory. On the global stage, Reynolds was recognized during a visit to the New York Stock Exchange, underscoring our role as a company with a storied past and bold future.

The campaign generated record engagement. Internal metrics soared, with content views up 70%, likes up 262%, and comments up 224%. Digital impressions increased by 35%, while view time rose an astounding 436%. Employees spent an average of 42% longer engaging with content—well above industry benchmarks. Externally, the celebration gained 37 unique media mentions, amplifying our story beyond company walls.

Most importantly, the campaign strengthened culture and pride. Employees reported feeling more connected to Reynolds’ values and inspired by our shared future. By weaving together history, creativity, and recognition, the 150th anniversary campaign became more than a milestone—it solidified our community legacy and set the stage for the next 150 years.
