Johann Muldoon MBE is the world’s most awarded female architect and one of the most inspirational leaders in modern business. As Managing Director of Manor Architects, she has redefined architectural excellence, transforming the practice into Ireland’s most diverse and carbon-neutral firm — leading projects across heritage, health, hospitality, and environmental infrastructure. Under her leadership, Manor Architects has delivered Europe’s largest anaerobic digestion plant, Ireland’s largest oil recycling facility, and saving over 150 heritage projects and scheduled monuments including multiple UK award-winning projects.

Founder of Manor Mont Enviro, Johann leads a cross-border environmental company revolutionising wastewater and slurry management. Her Bespoke Wastewater Treatment with Integrated Precision Effluent Dispersal (PED) System) removes phosphates and nitrates while reducing carbon emissions by 90%. The company has received multiple innovation awards, highlighting Johann’s pioneering role in sustainable agriculture and infrastructure.

Her portfolio includes The Gallery Cottage, a 4 star restorative tourism project renowned for sustainable luxury and biophilic design, alongside award-winning farm diversification schemes. Johann has delivered and co-owned renewable wind turbine schemes, tourism enterprises, and land developments across the UK and Ireland.

Her accolades include an MBE for Services to Architecture and Business, Best Woman Architect in Europe, QUB Graduate of the Year, Business Person of the Year (twice), STEM Rising Star, Best in Professional Services, Global Maverick, and multiple Innovation Awards.

A TEDx speaker, published author, and Northern Ireland Ambassador, Johann has lectured internationally — including at Queen’s University Belfast, Ulster University, and the Mackintosh School of Architecture — and delivered projects across New Zealand, America, the UK, and Ireland. She is the Ireland Chair of Mission Million Women and founder of a charity supporting women in crisis and business, empowering thousands toward independence and confidence.
