I founded Accelerated Innovation in 2024 after two decades working inside large organisations, where I saw good ideas come to nothing. Projects stalled because teams were stretched, leaders lacked evidence to make decisions, and internal work that should have taken weeks lasted half a year. When consultancies were brought in, they arrived with high fees, long timelines and generic answers. I built Accelerated Innovation to offer the alternative I wished I’d had: fast research and design that helps leaders make decisions without wasting months or millions. My mission is to be faster, better and cheaper than any alternative, with advice grounded in evidence. I specialise in innovation, research and design, market exploration and go-to-market development. I operate primarily in private health insurance, where significant system pressures include ageing populations, rising chronic disease and demand for digital health. I help executives and boards navigate these challenges, decide where to invest, what to prioritise and how to prepare for the next decade. My delivery model is lean. I'm a sole operator, drawing on client-side experience to provide the speed, clarity and hands-on engagement that large consultancies struggle to offer. Clients work directly with me from start to finish, and I am known for making complex information simple, actionable and evidence-based. When required, I partner with an extensive network of trusted experts to ensure specialised insight, with senior leaders describing my analysis as comprehensive and invaluable in shaping strategy. Beyond client work, I am recognised as a thought leader in the innovation space: I published Get S#!t Done: How to innovate inside complex organisations, a practical book helping leaders navigate innovation inside complex environments (pg2-3). I produce industry innovation reports that consolidate and analyse publicly available data to reveal how major funds are responding to system challenges (pg4-5 + attached files). I host a podcast, Innovation Insider, where I interview high-profile leaders across insurance, healthcare and innovation; for example, CBA Director and ex-IAG CEO Peter Harmer, named AFR's 4th most powerful Australian Director (pg6). I've presented multiple times for private healthcare industry associations & organisations, and appeared on a global insurance podcast (pg7).
