What is AI, really? Code. Algorithms. Endless data. How do you get thousands of people to feel its power and potential at the same time? How do you make AI real? How do you set the stage for a powerful product keynote?
For Snowflake Summit 2025, Snowflake and Invision set out to do something different. We told Snowflake’s story not with explanations — but with goosebumps. We brought together human creativity and technology to create an immersive experience that transported the audience into the data cloud itself. AI and music share similar DNA: patterns, structure, possibility. So instead of words, music became the storyteller. It began with a simple prompt: “Compose a symphony inspired by falling snow.”
That prompt became the creative engine of the opening experience. Using AI as a creative partner, Bay Area composer Adam Theis collaborated with generative tools to co-compose an original symphony, translating raw data into structured beauty. What followed was not a demo, but a moment of shared wonder — human creativity elevated by machine intelligence. The result was Falling Snow, a five-minute symphony.
A custom round stage was surrounded by curved LED screens that radiated outward, transforming Moscone Center into an intimate 360-degree environment. Layered vanish screens, including a raked overhead screen, added depth and texture, while AI-assisted motion graphics visualized crystalline data structures transforming like snowflakes in freefall. Lighting pulsed in sync with the music, creating an aurora-like glow that wrapped the audience in motion and sound.
As the 22-piece orchestra reached its crescendo, snow gently fell onto the stage, revealing Snowflake Co-Founder and President Benoit Dageville as conductor, demonstrating how Snowflake guides complexity into clarity. A final prompt, “Enable what’s possible.” seamlessly transitioned into the keynote.
For five uninterrupted minutes, nearly 100,000 square feet of Moscone Hall C fell silent. Phones lowered. Conversations stopped. The audience didn’t just learn about AI — they experienced it. Falling Snow transformed a keynote opening into emotional proof: AI can bring order to chaos and inspiration to data. The response? Visible audience impact, press momentum, and enough FOMO to stoke audience acquisition for 2026.
