The Alien Florist

Alien Florist is a tongue-in-cheek branded short created to explore what a small creative team can produce using a modern AI-assisted workflow.

The video follows an unlikely business owner who explains how SLIDEFACTORY helped improve their website, increase visibility, and bring more customers through the door. The concept gave us a way to talk about a familiar business problem without making another traditional agency video. Whether you’re running a flower shop in Portland or operating somewhere considerably farther away, customers still need to be able to find you.

The project also became an opportunity to experiment with a newer generation of AI production tools. ChatGPT was used during script development, ElevenLabs for the voice performance, Veo 3 for scene generation and animation, and Adobe Premiere Pro for editing, pacing, and final assembly.

Our goal was not simply to make an “AI video.” We wanted to see how these tools could fit into an actual production process while keeping creative direction, storytelling, timing, and quality in human hands. AI allowed us to create a character, setting, and visual world that would normally require a much larger production, while traditional editing and creative judgment were still critical to making the piece work.

The finished short reflects the broader work we do at SLIDEFACTORY across web development, immersive experiences, custom applications, SEO, and AI. More importantly, it demonstrates how emerging technology can expand what a small team is capable of producing when it is treated as part of the creative toolkit rather than the idea itself.

The result is a playful brand piece built around a simple message: whether you’re running a flower shop or orbiting the moon, your website should work as hard as you do.
