I am primarily responsible for DR.UNI’s brand strategy and market positioning in the field of student appeals. This includes leading the team to develop brand strategies, enhancing brand awareness and influence, and collaborating with various departments to ensure consistency in brand image and service quality.

We maintain deep partnerships with over 100 institutions and have more than 100 offline branches worldwide. Operationally, we offer customized services such as academic appeals, failed-course rescue, and thesis guidance. Our professional appeals team includes committee officers from QS Top 100 universities, with up to ten years of experience in student appeals. We bring together professional lawyers, former university professors, and senior educational consultants to provide comprehensive academic appeal solutions, dedicated to helping students resolve all their difficulties and safeguard their academic rights.

7 What are the challenges of developing / marketing your winning entry(ies)?

The main challenges are cultural differences and market awareness. Educational systems and cultural backgrounds vary across countries, requiring DR.UNI to deeply understand and precisely position ourselves. At the same time, academic appeals for international students are an emerging field with low market awareness, so we need to continuously educate the market.

Since we operate in the academic appeals industry for international students, DR.UNI starts by focusing on the real needs of students, conducting research and gathering feedback to identify pain points. Then, we develop targeted service solutions in conjunction with recommendations from our professional team to address various challenges faced by students. At the same time, we emphasize innovation and continuously optimize our service processes and technological applications.

9 What is your own definition of a successful team / organization / business?

For DR.UNI, I define success as giving students the certainty of moving from “academic crisis” to “regained confidence.” Our team combines three key elements: professional depth (100% of our advisors have overseas academic backgrounds), collaborative efficiency (a 24-hour response mechanism across time zones), and long-term commitment (refusing short-term gains and upholding academic ethics). These are why we can continuously solve various complex issues for international students and create value.

10 What led you / your organization to become successful within the industry you are currently in?

DR.UNI’s professional team, precise service positioning, and customer-centric philosophy are the keys to our success. When handling academic appeals for international students, we delve into their needs and provide high-quality services, which ultimately win us reputation and trust. A student from the University of Birmingham came to us after failing five courses and retaking two, and had received two consecutive dismissal warnings. Our team took on this critical case and made breakthroughs in three steps: 1. Confront the issues and clarify special circumstances. 2. Draft a logically clear and compelling appeal letter. 3. Provide detailed evidence to strengthen persuasion. We ultimately achieved a reversal of the dismissal and secured a retake opportunity. Both the student and our team were overjoyed, and the student gave us high praise. We have many similar success stories.

The country where DR.UNI is based has rich educational resources and well-established educational regulations, which provide a solid foundation for the development of the academic appeals industry for international students. 12 What have you found to be a hindering factor, for your business, during the entire course of the pandemic, and how did you overcome that hinderance?

Institutions which increased the complexity of evidence collection for academic appeals. We responded by: Strengthening and expanding DR.UNI’s online communication advantages to help students adapt to remote hearings. Also, by collaborating with overseas lawyers to maintain a real-time database of policy changes at various schools, enabling us to provide more precise solutions.

13 What are the current trends in the business industry that you are most excited about?

Digital transformation and globalization. Digitization allows DR.UNI to provide academic appeals services more efficiently, while globalization expands our business scope and market opportunities.

16 Who inspired you in your life, and why?

17 What is your key to success? Any parting words of wisdom?

The key to DR.UNI’s success is knowing the rules better than our clients in a specialized field.
