The mining activities at Öksüt are designed to support the social and economic development of local communities and regions positively. Projects are conducted in collaboration with official institutions, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and local populations. A proactive approach is taken to manage community feedback and potential social risks before they escalate into grievances or conflicts. Robust stakeholder engagement processes keep affected stakeholders and Indigenous groups informed about current activities and future plans.

Led by site Community Relations Teams, comprised of individuals from local or nearby communities with a deep understanding of regional dynamics, stakeholder identification, and mapping begin during exploration and are maintained throughout the mining process until closure. There is a strong emphasis on respecting stakeholders and actively seeking their input, valuing the insights they bring. Stakeholder engagement activities align with the Community Relations Management Procedure and Stakeholder Engagement Procedures.

The team regularly meets with the local community and conducts informational sessions with official institutions and NGOs in Develi and surrounding neighborhoods. Additionally, mine site visits are organized for local communities, Indigenous groups, regulatory authorities, and educational institutions. These tours provide opportunities for visitors to engage with personnel from various departments, offering insights into employment and training initiatives, environmental management, health and safety programs, and community partnerships. These efforts aim to foster transparent communication and build collaborative relationships with all stakeholders.
