In May 2024, inriver entered a new chapter with the appointment of CEO Rohit Goyal, a leader known for scaling global SaaS businesses at the intersection of commerce and technology.

With a track record of driving innovation, commercial scalability, and engineering excellence at companies like Demandware/Salesforce Commerce Cloud and TrueMotion, Rohit was the ideal choice to propel inriver into its next phase.

Bringing more than 20 years of experience in e-commerce and fintech, Rohit has instilled a focus on both customer success and product excellence, pushing inriver to set even higher goals. Under his leadership, the company is sharpening its strategic vision, accelerating innovation, and expanding its impact in the PIM space.
Prior to joining inriver, Rohit served as Chief Operating Officer at TrueMotion (acquired by Cambridge Mobile Telematics), where he led technology and product development across data science, engineering, product management, design, and client services.

Previously, as Senior Vice President of Product and Engineering at Demandware, he played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s product strategy and execution, ultimately driving its successful acquisition and integration into Salesforce Commerce Cloud. He has also served as an advisor to several B2B SaaS startups, further demonstrating his expertise in scaling technology-driven enterprises.

Rohit holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Denison University, a master’s and PhD in computer science from The Ohio State University, and an MBA from MIT Sloan. With his ability to transform businesses through technology, strategy, and execution, Rohit is redefining what’s possible for inriver and the broader PIM industry.
