At Aptia, our Customer Experience Team shows up every day with the same mission: to make benefits feel less overwhelming and more empowering for the people who count on them. Healthcare and financial benefits touch real lives, often at moments when individuals feel vulnerable, uncertain, or under pressure. Our role is to turn those moments into clarity and confidence.
We support millions of employees, retirees, and their families across the United States. Every phone call and every digital interaction represents a personal story: a new baby, a medical diagnosis, a retirement decision, or a surprise medical bill that needs resolution. These aren’t small things, and we never treat them that way.
Our team officially formed when Aptia launched in 2023, bringing together deeply experienced professionals across customer care, client services, technology, and experience design. Many of our team members have been serving the same client populations for years, and that long-standing continuity matters. We know the customers we serve. We understand their needs and their anxieties. And we intentionally build solutions around them, not the other way around.
We focus on three core commitments:
• Empathy first: always listen fully, assume positive intent, and treat every contact with humanity.
• Clarity at every step: eliminate confusion by simplifying language, setting expectations, and guiding confidently.
• Proactive support: anticipate needs, reduce friction, and solve issues before they escalate.
We are always improving by leaning into predictive analytics, smart automation, and feedback-driven enhancements that make experiences simpler and more accessible. But technology never replaces compassion here. It amplifies it.
Our success shows up not only in satisfaction scores and service-level metrics, but in real feedback from customers who tell us that we made a difficult day easier, saved them time and worry, or helped them finally understand their coverage.
